Nikolay Todorov from Musala Soft with presentation at FMI, Sofia University     (българска версия)

On June 9th, at 18:00 in FMI, under the initiative of Musala Soft and the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at Sofia University, was conducted the seminar "Agile Software Development using Scrum".

Lectors, during the event, were Nikolay Todorov, Team Leader at Musala Soft and Prof. Dr. Dimitar Birov, a lecturer at FMI with longstanding experience in teaching.

"Agile (flexible) methodology for software development has begun shifting the traditional technologies. Based on interactive cycles of agile development, those technologies allow fast adaptation towards continuously changing requirements for software and at the same time increase the productivity of software development team, quality of project management, advantages for clients and lower the risk in software production." - commented Nikolay Todorov.

During his lecture, he presented widespread Agile methodology - Scrum and acquainted the audience with the basic roles, tools and best practices, which such methodology could offer to its users; noted the advantages and utilities in using Agile. Mr. Todorov possesses several personal and professional awards and profound knowledge in different software fields and competences such as Java, .Net, Web Services, Eclipse RCP, JXTA, BEA WebLogic; covers Agile - XP, Scrum, FDD, ASD and DBs as MS SQL Server и Oracle.

Prof. Dr. Dimitar Birov contributed with presentation about "Going agile with Scrum".
