Great success for Musala Soft at the international IT exhibition – SYSTEMS 2006     (áúëãàðñêà âåðñèÿ)

Musala Soft took part at the leading trade international “business-to-business” exhibition - SYSTEMS 2006, held on 23-27 October in Munich – the biggest IT and media center in Europe. The company was part of a common national stand, organized by the Bulgarian Association of Software Companies (BASSCOM). For Musala Soft the exhibition was extremely successful and many new and promising contacts were made.

At SYSTEMS 2006 there was an increase of exhibitors compared to previous year and more than 1200 leading international IT companies attended the event. Interest towards Bulgarian stand was perceptible and was due to the forthcoming adhesion of the country to the European Union. Bulgaria is becoming more attractive as an economy with traditions in the software development.

This year, for the first time, SYSTEMS featured the Mobile Summit Forum. Delyan Lilov, CEO of Musala Soft, was among the key representatives of IT sector, who discussed trends and strategies for developing of the mobile communications field. The presentation demonstrated company’s experience in the development of a mobile solution for the Ministry of Agriculture of Switzerland and Swisscom – the biggest local mobile operator and attracted big interest.

During SYSTEMS 2006, in a Bulgarian restaurant was held a meeting with Bulgarian students and representatives of IT companies who talked about the work opportunities in the country. Lots of students attended the event and expressed their will to find career development in Bulgaria - a significant indicator which shows IT industry is going the right way. “The strong interest by students is a pleasant surprise. They estimate their chances in Bulgaria and abroad and to many of them Bulgaria looks more perspective.” – expressed their enthusiasm representatives of IT companies. “Within two weeks I will take my MA and I will return to Bulgaria to apply for a job. I traveled, made internships, saw a lot and now I want to build my career back home, where I consider I have more perspectives.” – commented one of the students.

According to the common trend of successful presentation of the Bulgarian IT industry at SYSTEMS 2006, the Bulgarian day "Software and SoftWine" attracted many visitors at the stand, who estimated the excellent qualities of our wine and the prosperity of Bulgarian software industry. ‘’There is nothing like seeing your efforts rewarded. The interest towards Bulgarian stand and the many visitors lead to the conclusion that what we’ve done is being seen and appreciated. ” – commented Delyan Lilov.
